Carefree, Arizona

The Carefree Arizona sundial was designed by architect Joe Wong and solar engineer John I. Yellott. It sits in the Sundial Circle plaza, and is the "third largest sundial in the Western Hemisphere" The sundial is said to point towards the North Star, but that may be a reference to the star-shaped sculpture hanging from the Gnomon.
